6.) According to both Tom's Hardware and a poster at Beyond3D, the Rendition V4400e exist in prototype form. It was said to be about the same speed as the GeForce. What can you tell me about this? Why was it not released? When was it ready? Isn't GeForce performance from a graphics chip with embedded DRAM a bit slow?

The V4400e is a prototype developed to test Micron's embedded DRAM
process. Micron has never pursued going to production with the V4400e.

7.) The Samurai chipset was not put into production. Can we be sure that the above mentioned chipsets will be? Or are you hoping that another company will license your designs?

Micron is a memory manufacturer. Our Integrated Technology Group
developed earlier chipsets to enable our memory technology. As Micron is ready to release information regarding any potential chipset development we will issue public announcements.

8.) According to Tom's Hardware, the eCache will offer a bandwidth of 9.6 GB/sec. Will this be true for both the Scimitar and the Mamba?

Please refer to the attached Mamba presentation.

9.)How much of the chipset market are you aiming for? Have you any
motherboard makers that have said they will make any new motherboards using the new chipsets?

Micron is not currently pursuing chipset market share. Currently,
our development in this area focuses on providing capabilities to Micron's memory efforts. If our plans change, and we will publicly announce a change in our plans.

10.) Do you have any plans to release any standalone graphics chips?

No, please see response to question 2 above.

11.) Can we expect the eCache to grow in later revisions (when better manufacturing processes are available)?

Micron does not speculate about future product development.

Thank you for answering these questions!
