Falanx Microsystems AS, formerly Advanced New Technology, has been bought by ARM. Falanx develops graphics core IP for inclusion in SoC from different companies. When they were known as Advanced New Technology, right after they started, I interviewed them. Take a look..

Falanx will now become ARM Norway, and they're planning to double the staff in the relatively near future. With the resources of ARM behind them, your next mobile phone might have Falanx technology in it..

 Plans

Posted By: Vidar Langberget. Date : 2005-12-29

I've been very lax lately with regards to updates and articles.. I started this year with good intentions, but aside from a very busy year, I get frustrated every time I start working on a new article.

The content management system driving this site was custommade by myself a couple of years back. I had grand plans for it, and I originally intended to sell the cms as a product. But then I got a job at Webscape, one of the leading CMS providers in Norway.

This has led to two things. First of all, I don't have the time that is required to develop the pre-alpha version running this site to a more functional level. Secondly, the new CMS we're developing at Webscape, for release in 2006 looks VERY impressive, so I've sort of decided not do any improvements to the existing version until I can move the site to the new Webscape CMS.

Until then, I'll try to get a more regular schedule going with regards to news and articles. I've got several editorials brewing in my head at the moment.
