The Temple Of Technology website was launched on the 6th of September 2000 by Vidar Langberget. It quickly grew in the next few months, to 75,000 pageviews in November 2000. Due to the fact that Vidar was in his final year of his Bachelor degree in computer science, only a couple of articles were published each month, limiting the growth of the site.
The articles that were published got a very good response, both from other webmasters and from visitors. A lot of well known sites linked our articles; Anandtech, The Register, The Inquirer, HardOCP, AMDZone, AMDMB, Tech-Report and many others.
In October 2002, Vidar sold the site, and in the next year, the site changed hands two more times. Then in November 2003, Vidar Langberget bought back the domain name, and the site you're browsing now is the new relaunched website, developed from scratch by Vidar, based on all his experience since the first version of the Temple Of Technology content management system back in the summer of 2000.
